About this role
Are you eager to work at a dynamic digital bank creating seamless customer experiences? Join JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Berlin as a UX Writer to shape the Chase Germany app and customer communications. We're seeking a proactive communicator and UX thinker familiar with German banking to craft empowering content. You will be a part of our Design and Customer Experience team, reporting to the VP UX writer, onsite in Berlin.
Job responsibilities
- Craft effective, meaningful copy to shape customer journeys focusing on tone, accessibility and meaning for different audiences
- Present and communicate work and recommendations to partners, content and design leadership, and stakeholders across the business
- Work with other UX writers by giving and receiving feedback, and sharing best practices to help elevate our work and maintain consistency across experiences
- Work closely with designers, product managers, researchers, localisation specialists and engineers to shape end-to-end customer experiences
- Understand, consider and balance business goals and requirements, regulatory requirements, and tech constraints with good customer outcomes
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Learn, understand and work with content team processes
- Contribute to writing guidelines to maintain consistency
- Collaborate with and manage multiple stakeholders more widely across the business including marketing, legal, compliance, privacy, risk and customer servicing teams
- Join UX research sessions and use learnings to inform our content experience
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- You’re fluent in English and a skilled writer
- You have experience crafting UX product copy and you know when to be consistent and when to deviate (for a better experience) in an app flow, buttons, help messages and push notifications
- You have a portfolio with examples of UX writing projects you’ve worked on
- You’re highly curious, value user research, and using insights to adapt and improve work
- You're comfortable working with localisation teams to maintain meaning and a unified voice across different languages
- You’re comfortable learning about new, unfamiliar topics, and asking the right questions to build your understanding
- You're comfortable working onsite at our Berlin office, 5 days a week
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Creative Writing, Human Centred Design or something similar
- You have experience with Jira and Confluence (or similar software)
- You have experience in banking, FinTech, or financial services
- You have some German language skills, and can contribute to discussions about German language choices
